The table below summarises which versions of each side of the mono album appeared in which countries, and the main changes that were made to each track in the progression from one version to the next. The "all others" referred to include Italy, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. No other countries are known to have pressed mono editions of the album.

Note: For Side 3 there is a missing, unreleased master: we know from the -4 matrix number suffix that the US edition contained the fourth version of that side, but there are only two earlier versions released, on the Canadian and French albums. In theory, then, the Canadian release might actually contain version 2 of that side and the French LP might contain version 3. But for the sake of simplicity I have assumed them to contain versions 1 and 2, as for the other three sides.

It's quite possible, though, that the unreleased master for Side 3 does not contain any new mixes. It could be that, say, "Temporary Like Achilles" and "Obviously 5 Believers" were changed for the missing version 3 master and then left unchanged on the final version 4, while "4th Time Around" saw no change from version 2 to version 3 but was then replaced with the overdubbed track on version 4. (You may need to read that again, slowly...) If there is one more mix to be heard, however, it's probably yet another attempt to sort out "4th Time Around" prior to the last-minute overdub.

All officially-sanctioned mono reissues have used the same mixes as the original US mono album, i.e. versions 2, 3, 4 and 2 for Sides 1 to 4 respectively.
