A handful of tracks from Dylan's 1965-66 period have actually been released in quite reasonable stereo mixes, with the drums placed centrally.  These can be found on The Bootleg Series Vols. 1-3, from way back in 1991, and were mixed by either Mark Wilder, Tim Geelan or both.
